Who is Jung Yong Hwa? You may already know him from the success korea drama You’re Beautiful. Well, he is the “Kang Shin Woo”. I bet so many girls out there who fall in love with him in a second from his cute charracter in this drama. Here some information I want to share with you all guys.

His name is 정용화 / Jung Yong Hwa (Jeong Yong Hwa). He is a Singer and as well as an actor. He was born in 1989, Jun 22th. Now he is about 21 years old. (That is why some people that he is to late to start hios debut with his band, C.N Blue. His birthplace is in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. He loves to listen to music and also playing piano. With the height of, 180cm he may looks so gentle, indeed.  He is in F&C Music talent agency.

You’re Beautiful is his first appearance in any drama in Korea. His play in this drama makes him get the popularity dramatically. Perhaps he also did not expect it. Since he played good in this TV series, he got a 2008 SBS Drama Awards as the New Star Award (You’re Beautiful)

You’re Beautiful (Hangul: 미남이시네요, literally “You’re a handsome man” or “You’re Minam“) is a South Korean drama that aired from October 7th to November 26th 2009 on the Korean network SBS. It starred Park Shin Hye, Jang Geun Suk, Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Hong Ki. You may really familiar with Jang  geun Suk or Lee Hong Ki. Indeed, Jang Geun SUk is a popular actor and singer in Korea while Lee hong ki is a lead vocal of popular band, FT Iland. Jung Yong Hwa is also getting his popularity after his play in this drama. He is the member of the new band, CN Blue.

During its run, several car companies offered to have their cars be used on the drama for promotional purposes. The latest car from the German automaker Audi introduced their Audi S4 on the miniseries, with Jang Geun Suk (Tae Kyung) driving it.

Additionally, the soundtrack of the miniseries also sold 20,000 copies within its first seven days of released due to the popularity of the show.The album became a top seller on all the various online sites, such as Melon, Dosirak, and Mnet. The album was written and produced by Han Sung-ho, who also worked on the dramas Lovers, On Air, and Brilliant Legacy.

Because the drama features a concert footage in it, A.N.JELL actually performed as mini-concert, where it was reported that as many 25,000 fans showed up. The group performed the songs “Promise” and “Still”; Jang Geun Suk also sang “Good Bye” and “What Should I Do,” the latter of which is the track Tae-kyung remakes for his mother in the drama. Park Shin Hye sang her character’s theme song, “Lovely Day.”

Despite its mediocre ratings, numerous fans have watched the drama online where it also reportedly gained a cult.

An SBS spokesperson stated that because Hong Ki is actually a part of an idol group, the “role will suit him very well.” The role of Shin-woo marks Jung Yong Hwa’s acting debut, which he auditioned for whilst preparing to debut with his band C.N.Blue in Japan.

Summary of the story:

The management company of the idol group A.N.JELL insisted on adding a new singer to the group as the lead vocal, Tae Kyung’s voice was hurting. However,the new member, Mi Nam, had to go to the States to repair a botched eye job just before signing the contract. His agent came up with the idea of having his twin sister, Mi Nyu,to stand in for him and pretend that she was her brother. The two of them grew up in an orphanage and Mi Nyu, who was all set to become a nun, agreed to this charade as she didn’t want to spoil her brother’s chance of fame which would make it easier to look for their mother.

Go Mi Nyu is a sister-in-training. When her identical twin brother Go Mi Nam successfully auditions into the musical band A.N.JELL but is forced to leave for the United States to correct a botched plastic surgery effort, she is approached by his manager to pose as Mi Nam for the duration of his recovery. Against her wishes, Mi Nyu accepts in order to fulfill her brother’s dream of finding their mother. Now, posing as Mi Nam, Mi Nyu enters the group A.N.JELL and meets its members; Hwang Tae Kyung, Kang Shin Woo and Jeremy.

Initially disliked by Tae Kyung, the group’s leader and composer, Mi Nyu slowly falls in love with him, only to find herself entangled in a love triangle between him and Shin Woo. Jeremy also harbors a one-sided love for her despite not knowing she’s a girl. Additionally, Mi Nyu finds herself rivaled against Yoo He Yi, an actress who also has feelings for Tae Kyung.
